Our Home Base Makeover

As mentioned in my last post, we have spent the first few months of the year renovating our new flat to make it the perfect “lock up and leave”. For those of you who are interested, I assembled a few before and after pictures to show what we did. Don’t worry, if you are more interested in the travel, normal service will resume in our next post. We are heading off for a long summer road trip!

Our place is small but mighty and around 110 square meters including a small terrace with a killer view. The previous owners had already knocked down the wall between the kitchen and the living room which makes a lovely open plan space. Everything was in pretty good shape but we wanted to upgrade the floors, bathrooms, kitchen and doors. Take a look.
